Operation is a breeze
Thanks to its well thought out and structured menu, the Dräger P4000 is particularly easy to operate. Navigate the menus by swiping your finger up and down – no complex navigation and quite simple. Whether carrying out load testing, leak testing or general pressure testing – simply tap the desired device function and the device does it all. Pre-set measurement programme for frequently carried out tests also facilitates the work.

The Dräger P4000 only weighs 220 g and is particularly handy thanks to its ergonomic housing.
The protective covers provide total protection for the Dräger P4000, allowing it to function even during challenging conditions. The protective covers allow simple placement and equally easy removal.
The P4000 has connections for external sensors The internal pressure measuring range of 160 HPa (160 mbar) can be extended with the use of optional digital pressure sensors to 0.35 MPa or 2.5 MPa (3.5 or 25 bar).
The Dräger P4000 can also be charged in other ways, such as in the car, using the USB charging port. Its light weight and handy size mean it fits almost anywhere.
Product description
The Dräger P4000 includes general measuring programmes and special measuring programmes for common testing with specified parameters according to regulations or standards. Live diagrams on the display ensure you are able to track the measurement process.
In addition to manual pressure measurement and leak testing, the device includes default measurement programmes for:
- Leak testing (150 HPa/150 mbar) and load testing (0.1 MPa + 0.3 MPa / 1 bar + 3 bar) on gas pipelines (DVGW TRGI 2018)
- Leak testing (150 HPa / 150 mbar) and strength testing (0.1 MPa /1 bar) on liquefied petroleum gas pipelines (TRF)
- Leak testing (150 HPa / 150 mbar) and load testing (0.1 MPa or 0.3 MPa / 1 bar or 3 bar) on drinking water systems (DIN EN 806)
- Leak testing with water (0.6 MPa / 6 bar) for press connections in drinking water systems (DIN EN 806)
- Leak testing with water (1.1 MPa / 11 bar) on metal, multilayer bond and plastic pipelines of Drinking water systems (DIN EN 806)
The internal pressure measurement range of 160 mbar can be extended with the use of optional digital pressure sensors for 3.5 or 25 bar.
